Prince George County Public Schools
Prince George County Public Schools includes six schools; including facilities maintenance, landscaping, and pest control services. The project addresses the issues of aging infrastructure and overcrowded facilities in Prince George’s County.
Four out of the six schools were constructed using a prototype design, incorporating uniform elements such as classroom sizes, bathroom layouts, and mechanical systems. The schools have capacities ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 students, collectively accommodating 8,000 students, with an additional 2,000 students beyond the school board’s historical capacity.
The concession runs until 2053.
Sustainability
The project delivers six newly built, modernised middle schools, expanding capacity by 8,000 students and replacing ageing infrastructure in underserved communities.
Environmental mitigation and climate-resilient measures have been integrated during design and construction (LEED Adelphi).
