Kent Schools

The Kent Schools project is an availability-based PPP involving the re-development of six schools across the county.

It included the design, construction, financing, and maintenance of modern educational facilities featuring new classrooms, in Kent including the construction of new state-of-the-art learning and teaching facilities tailored to each institution’s educational focus.

Schools such as Hugh Christie Technology College benefitted from a strong ICT focus, supporting digital learning and fostering a culture of innovation.

The project became operational in 2007, and the concession runs until 2035.

Sustainability

All facilities are designed for dual community use, with modern amenities made available to local residents outside school hours, strengthening community engagement.
