Coventry Schools

The Coventry Schools PFI project is a 28-year concession to design, build, finance, and maintain Caludon Castle School, a large co-educational secondary school and sixth form for over 1,500 students aged 11-18.

Located in Coventry, the facilities serves as a Business and Enterprise College and was purpose-built to support a modern curriculum with strong emphasis on ICT and digital learning tools.

The facility became operational in 2006, and the concession runs until 2034.

Sustainability

Caludon Castle School holds the Eco‑Schools Green Flag Award, recognising its active work in reducing plastic waste, saving energy, and improving its environmental impact through eco‑projects and awareness campaigns.

This award demonstrates the school’s commitment to embedding environmental education and sustainable behaviour across the school community.
