The William R. Bennett Bridge is a 1.1 km floating bridge across Okanagan Lake, connecting downtown Kelowna and West Kelowna via Highway 97.
As one of only nine floating bridges globally, it accommodates five traffic lanes and a 3 m sidewalk for pedestrians and cyclists. The overall project length is approx. 2 km.
It became operational in 2008 and receives availability payments from the Province of British Columbia. The concession runs until 2035 and supports major traffic and economic flows across the region.
