Liverpool & Sefton Clinics
The Liverpool and Sefton Clinics project is an availability-based PPP under the UK Government’s Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) initiative. It involves a strategic partnership to develop, fund, build, operate and manage primary healthcare facilities across Liverpool and Sefton.
Delivered through five portfolio companies, the programme includes 14 completed facilities offering services such as GP practices, chiropody, speech and language therapy, community nursing, dental surgery and family planning.
A new capital funded 80-bed low secure mental health facility for MerseyCare NHS Foundation Trust was completed on the Mossley Hill site in August 2025.
Sustainability
All buildings were designed and built to a minimum BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rating of “Excellent”, ensuring high standards of environmental performance. Some feature solar panels.
Many of the facilities serve as community hubs, support local initiatives and improve access to healthcare services.
