Avon & Somerset Police Headquarters

This project includes the design, build, finance and maintenance of four new-build police and custody facilities in the Avon and Somerset region.

Located across the greater Bristol area, the facilities comprise an operations base, three custody and crime investigation centers, and police stations. It also includes a tri-force firearms training centre at Black Rock Quarry, serving Avon and Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Police.

The facilities have been designed for shared use with other emergency services to optimize operational efficiency and reduce public sector accommodation costs.

Sustainability

The Black Rock Quarry training centre was designed to integrate with its environmentally sensitive setting, making use of a disused quarry.

The site preserves the natural landscape while delivering high-spec police training infrastructure.
